Bill,

I plan on getting there around 9:30am (gates open at 10am, runs start at 12 noon and everything is finished by 5pm). Svxfiles, will probably arrive around 3pm as he has to work until 2pm on Saturdays. He may be able to convince to boss to let him leave earlier though... :D

Tom,

I'd estimate 3-4 runs at the minimum especially if there's a big turn-out or several accidents on the track. If everything flows smoothly, then you might be able to get in 10+...

Chike and Tom,
I may be able to make this. Sounds like fun, although being "STOCK", I will be no match for you guys :D . But that's okay. You'll spot me a few seconds, right?

BTW, Chike. My friend next door that has the 1970 Chevelle "PRO_STOCK" for sale told me his price - $20K. Remember it turns 8.9 sec in the quarter at 170 MPH leaving the line with the front wheels waving at the crowd :D :D

Harry,
I checked my "race calendar" and there's an autoX at Harry Grove the same day! Might be interesting to spend the morning autoX'ing and then go the rest of the way up the road to Mason-Dixon (probably another 45 minutes to get there -- maybe less, as we'd be on race tires!!! :D )

p.s. Ben, are you reading this thread??? :D

Damn Harry. Your neighbor has a sweet ride. I definitely couldn't afford to get something like that right now - just too many things on my plate.

You should have him check out www.dragtimes.com. They have a link to free racing classifieds. :)
