Snow - finally

We don't get much snow an southern Vancouver Island but we've got it now. I've discovered that there are two kinds of drivers here - those with AWD and those who wished they had AWD.:)

I've had no problems getting where I need to go except, with inadequate snow clearing equipment here, I've often had to plow through up to a foot of snow. I'm wandering if I've damaged the CV boots in the process.

If it is soft fluffy type, probably no damage, but if it is heavy icy stuff, that could be bad for the boots. :o

You're safe! I've done more than my fair share of snow plowing with my SVX :D

Hey Vancouver, give us Ottawa folks our snow back! Seriusly, I'm sitting here bored because I can't take the Subbies out and have a bit of fun in the snow. We got a little icey crap the other day, but it's all gone now. :( :( :(

You would have been shut down if you got the amount of snow we got here last week!

Crazy_pilot 12-06-2006 10:28 AM

Oh probably, but it's still fun. A nice 20-30 cm dump would be just perfect, jump start the skiing, plenty of unplowed parking lots...
