Anyone ever gone 150?
In your SVX. Anyone made it that far upstairs?

I think we already had a topic, were we discussed the top-speeds.
I have done 155 mph/250 kmh once. It was at 3 a.m. (no traffic) at the Autobahn! mfg hrc |
I think Larry III posted about the top speed with the gears and how the speedo wasn't close to correct at high speeds. I had mine up to 133 on the speedometer. I think that breaks down to 127 actual.

Kelli i myself, only did 126 or so in the SVX...on route 80... |
i hear greenmarine did 150 on the way out of atlanta.
<good riddance> outran a stationary cop.  |
I'm 9k (about a year and a half away). Gotta do it at 150k right?:D I was actually in a car doing 150 once. Did it a couple times on bikes but the car was definately the scariest. 150mph in a eary 70s Ferrari that was set up for vintage racing right down to the 5.5 inch bias plys between us and the road

I've had mine to the mid 140's and i've ridden in a 92 with the speedo pegged. It was a rush! The transmission smoke that followed shortly thereafter wasnt, though. :(

Yes it is off by about 10 mph on ALL SVXes. On every one I owned, I reset them. I pull out the needle at 60mph on cruise and push them in and recheck the speed at 40, 60, and 80mph using 3 GPSes while using cruise control. |
My pearlie was up to 153ish, i wasnt really looking down as much as i was up, as i was quite scared.
My green car ive had to 130, have never tried, but even with the 4.11's the 5spd climbs faster over a 100, the aut0 seems a bit faster 70 to 100 ~110. BTW 60-120 on the bottle is insane in the SVX, i mean rediculous phil |

My speedo seems to be a constant 5mph off, when it says 70 I'm doing 65 and when it says 20 I'm doing 15.
