Nor cal Sacramento meet & drive
 

Okay so was originally planing oct 5th. But now it is Saturday OCT 12TH.
So I'm thinking of meeting in the morning somewhere for breakfast like "California burgers"? Then I can scout a good place for some photos. Then we can go for a drive from auburn to hwy 49 to salmon falls road which drops off in eldarado hills. Then buzz down hwy 50 to K1 speed for some go karting! :) grab some lunch. Then depending how we feel maybe go back the way we came? And then grab some beers and chill.

Any suggestion I'm totally open to doing more or something different :)

Just spotted this. Still good to go with the new date. Early shot at K1 is recommended on Saturday. Maybe flip order of events? Photo shoot sounds good!

That's sounds good they open at 10am. Also thee is a groupon for them right now 4 races for $44!!

Sounds like a great day of activities! Unfortunately the whole block from the 4th thru the 15th is a no-go for me as I have family coming in and won't be able to slip away at all. :(

Keep the momentum going guys and hopefully sometime in the coming months we can get together again, even if for something simple.

Good to hear you'll be joining us Ash! Meeting up at 10am, at K1 Speed in Sac. Hiway 50 and Bradshaw. Plan is to do a couple of Kart races, maybe grab a sandwich at the Subway adjacent, then head up Hiway 50 past Pollock Pines, take Icehouse road out past Icehouse Lake all the way to Georgetown, through Cool, down the canyon on 49 to Auburn, and home from there. Looking forward to meet and drive!! :)

Awesome ride around the Sierra foothills yesterday!! Small enough group (3) to encourage rapid transit past folks gracious enough to clear the way, and after a hold up on Hiway 50 for the Apple Hills throng, a very nice outing. The Kart racing, indoors with electric powered karts, followed by lunch at Subway, was awesome as well. Izack was the class of the field, until the crowd encouraged us to change venues to the freeway. Gorgeous country drive, with lots of linked turns, and I found the car to be very responsive in 3rd gear, with Power mode engaged. Must admit to falling in love with my car all over again!

Ended the day quaffing a couple of brewskis at my favorite local brewery with my SVX buds. Thanks for a wonderful day Izack and Ash! Let's do it again soon!!

It was absolutely a blast. The road (once we found it:D) was fantastic. And damn is Spike Driver a great double IPA (beg your favorite store to pick it up).

It was a pleasure to meet you Glenn and I'm looking forward to the next get together.

The next day I went to apple hill and was driving by someone's house and saw a nice red wrx then I noticed a svx in there garage haha. Next time I'm up there gotta stop and say hi.
