dual A-pillar pod

for those who have this pod on their a-pillar, "the one motorsportwarehouse sells" does it fit nice and tight against the pillar? close up pictures of it installed would be nice, because i heard that you have to use a heat gun to soften it up so that it fits snug. any other dual pods that you guys know of that fit well please list too, thanks

I just wedged my single gauge on, not too thrilled about the idea of drilling. Dunno if that would work for the dual. :)

Man that looks cool. I think im gonna do the dual pods and install some small LED's to indicate the gauges are working. More of a look thing. Yeah.......

Dayle, 2 things:

1. How did you mount it??

2. What other guages are available other than tranny temp?? I am not too sure I have a use for EGT or A/F and was hoping something else was available.

Thanks
CK

***and yes, most of my mods are going to be ordered through you, I am just waiting on my refinancing to go through for my house, then I will make a decent order. :D

The pod comes with specially designed plastic riviets
to attach it to the pillar.
Some people prefer to use small black self tapping screws.
Look on the Interior page of our site, it shows most of the
gauges we stock, but we can sometimes special order others.
Pretty good selection. :)

dayle have you ever installed a fuel gauge on an svx? could i put an autometer fuel guage in a piller pod and be good to go or is it harder than i think?

Motorsport-SVX 01-23-2005 10:00 AM

never did anything with fuel pressure etc..
wasnt all that important to me.
Autometer has come out with a new gauge
I cant find the info at the moment, but it a multi
function gauge with a built in accelerameter sorta
like a round version of the G-tech, with other features.
We have them on order, but not sure how long they
will take to come in.
Once I find the part # and or pic of it again Ill post it.
