Asked Grandson to 'rate' our time together.
 

I asked my bestest helper of the year how our 'time' rates on a scale of 1 to 10.
We work too hard, bust knuckles, cut our fingers on rusty metal, watch 'cheesey' 'B' movies about cars from the 70's in the garages while we sort good stuff from junk. We 'spend TIME' together!
My 13 year old grandson said that he rates our time at a 12!

I LOVE that young man! HE is my 'link' to the FUTURE!!

This guy WILL be building 'World Class' street rods in the next 5 years!

He doesn't know how lucky he is to have a grand dad...


...or maybe he does. :)

My one grandfather died when I was about 3, the other one was too busy to mess with kids. He died when I was 10.
My Dad always had time for the grandkids. I loved to see it! I want to be like HIM!
