Memorial weekend at 'The Farm'!

I would like to extend this open invitation to forum members to join us at the 'Farm' in Oldtown Md sat evening for a bonfire, beverages and grilled animals!

If you chose to show up, bring something to sleep in and some beverages and/or critters for the grill. I have purchased 8 LBs of ground chuck, 3 packs of hotdogs and buns to cover them. I will be taking a 30 pack of Keystone lite and a coil of sweet Italian sausage and some veggies to steam.

This event is to celebrate the 'Re-Possession of the farm. Not a re-possession by the bank, but by 'like minded' people that will be working together to make this thing work!

14500 Cresap Mill Rd, Oldtown,Md. Saturday, may 29th, 2010

Got a pile 8 ft high and 15 ft in diameter to get started on the fire.
Wish you were here!

You have been to the 'farm', (one of the few)
.... Mathew was there, Eric 'the Red' has been there, OT and Dianna, Nick and Dave.
I think that Mike621 and another guy was there once, years ago.
'Nick' was there on the 'whiskey day' that I was shooting OT's bullet holes!

I don't care if you drive a mo-ped! Show up, if you can.
I will be going 'off-line' about 10:00 am on sat. I will park my silly Rabbit VW at the gate. It's 1981 painted Subaru Liquid Silver and has 4 doors.
Plus, It's the ONLY VW Rabbit on that road!
Set the 'garmin' and come on down! Bring your guns if you are going to get there before dark. ALL guns have to be put away at dark!

Thanks for letting us come out Jerry. It was fun watching all the guns go off in the door, starting 20+ft fires with flare guns, eating the good food on the grill.

The edge of the pasture was littered with 12 guage caseings and 9 mm brass that could be measured in POUNDS!
I only found (1) round that passed the back-stop and landed down at the shed. It looked like a 9 mm.
Have it in my pocket.

There were 40 people that showed up total!!
That BAZZAR 'trike' thing that Tony had blew a lot of minds!
( OT said that he didn't see it.)
It was over 10 feet long and had a narrowed Ford 9" rear end and a 500 Kawasaki engine! They ran it for about 2 hours.
I saw 5 different guys in the drivers seat. It looked like it could 'hurt' someone, so I will wait for a more 'sober' day to drive it!

I returned today with food and beer to spare.

What a PARTY!!
My sorry little 'sooner', Louie has been sleeping all day! I think his 4 inch long legs carried his fat little body well over 10 miles! ( He was afraid he would miss something).
I slept for about 3 hours this afternoon, so I guess I can't beat Louie up too bad.

I went out to the pasture to clean up the mess. I found 2 beer cans and the top off a pack of smokes!!

I carried ALL the 'TRASH' in ONE hand!! Thank you ALL that were there for 'RESPECTING' the property!!
I expected to have to go get the truck to clean the place up!
