I don't like how the turbos are set so near the manifold, lots of heated air will come in

I agree. I think that the compressor housings would melt all the vacuum piping. I have gone through lengths to prevent my CH from melting all my electrical. Already melted my power steering hose. Had to repipe and relocate with steel braided teflon. Also, I don't see how they are piping the intakes.

I still think the best place for twin turbos would be in the front fenders. The exhaust manifolds are right there. CAI right there. FMIC right there. Oil feed lines right there. You could even set up coolant flow through the turbos from the water pump, which is right there. Then if you could reverse the intake manifold you would be in buisness. It would be right there. Just need enough elevation on the turbos to run the oil back to the pan.

Pardon me if I am wrong but thats not an SVX body... its an SVX engine but the car itself... isnt... am i correct?

Correct. It looks to be an older style (late 90's) WRX or 2.5 RS Impreza.
