I thought a gentlemen agreement was reached between german manufacturers to limit speed to like 156 mph or 250Km/h. do you think he did that? (i dunno if videos showed it, i couldn't open them)

I toyed with one of those recently... it wasn't pretty (for me :o).

I always liked Brabus more than AMG concerning Mercedes Benz tuning. They do a better job in that.

Those E55 AMG's are just insane! That car pulled like a crazy up to ~175mph after which the speed slowly crept up to 190mph... NICE! :cool:

Some people think AMG was always the factory tuner, but they were an independant company until Merc realized it could make money off of the "tuned" cars and bought AMG whole. I always loved the C Class AMG cars. They have just the right proportions. After the 928 an AMG would be my second favorite car. I just can't get into the new BMW's.

Amen. I just love the prev C32 AMG (w/ the s/c V-6). The new one with the n/a 5.4 V8 just doesn't do it for me...
