Well one of my friends owns a 94 LSi, and it has manual seat belts, and a passenger air bag. However on this 94 (look at pic) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=31871
it has the power seat belts, and no air bag. Was that how all of the 94 L's were or is it just this one  , also it is FWD   whats the point, lol. ~Dennis

The 94 year car were split. the ealrier ones had power seat belts and single air bags. the later ones had manual belts and dual air bags. both pf my 94's had manual belts and dual bags. My fwd was an L model and stil had the same interior as the one shown but with the different belts.

I once owned a 94 LE model. It was probably the lowest model SVX you could buy. It was FWD, had a cloth interior, no sunroof, no woodgrain dash, no ABS. It did have a spoiler though:) Subaru was hoping to sell more SVX's by making a cheaper FWD version starting in 94. This didn't really work out too well, so in 96 they dropped the FWD models. What makes the SVX a great car is that no matter how basic of a model you buy, they all have auto climate control, rear wiper, rear defrost, power antenna, and fog lights.

Manual seat-belts rock! After getting my long hair caught in the automatic power seat-belts on plenty of rentals, I'll never buy a car with 'em. You'd have to pay me extra <chuckle>.

I agree. I do like the manual belts better. :)

I must be the only person that prefers auto belts.

Me too, I only looked at 94's and 95's when shopping for my car. That's the 94 barcelona red with the clear lights and grill between the white and blue cars right? I normally don't go for red cars but that one is looking awfully awfully sharp. Both the red and blue ones screem out supercharge me when i look at them. I'm glad to see so many svx's have found a good home with clear blue skies and wide green pastures to run free, lol. Do you keep the heard in that white building in the back?

No, I have to keep them in the garage and barn. The building in the background is a horse barn. The red one you refer to (clear corner lights) and the blue one are 94s and the bordeaux is a 95. :)

What's the weather like up there in the summer.

ensteele 07-02-2005 04:53 PM

Sunny and nice. Some rain, but in the 70s and 80s as far as temp goes. :)

i prefer them as well. it rests in a better place then the manual. also, the little swivel things that holds the manual belt gets in the way entering and exiting teh svx.
