Mine doesnt stink, how about yours???

Ever see that one person that you just want to curse out just from looking at them? Well I saw that today.
I work in a supermarket in Pelham, NY which is one of the first towns connecting NY state to NYC. Well Pelham is full of snobby well off folks who think that since they have money they get things the way they want (well thats most of the coustomers). Money usually means need to show off, and im not talking about someones daddy buying a Stang or a Camaros, Beamer or Benz. HELL ive even seen classic Vettes, Vipers, a Lambo, and the occasional Ferrari.
BALLS, thats all I have to say!!!
As im driving down the block with my windows down and the sunroof open, disturbing this normal and quite neighborhood with LOUD, ABUSIVE rock music. I see a shiny red car taking up 3 nose in parking spots, and say to my self " you have to be ****ing kidding me"
Someone must have been having ONE HELL OF A MIDLIFE CRISIS because as im pulling in i see a friggin FERRARI ENZO taking up 3 spots. As if his **** dont stink, and to my annoyment the car in front of me doesnt know how to move and look at the same time.
Call me a hater, call me what ever. Having a nice car is having a nice car any way you look at it. But parading it to show how much you have isnt cool. Sometimes people just make me sick. I wish tranny problems on him for the rest of his short life.

Agreed. Taking up 3 parking spots is a little too much!

I've seen someone take up two, never three...but then again I've never seen an Enzo in person!

P.S. Have some consolation - he pays over $800 an oil change!:D

I aggree with you, three is overkill. But on the other hand, I love my car, and would triple park it at the fat end of the parking lot next to a curb to make sure no one hit it.:D

SubaSteevo 04-19-2004 06:53 AM

I got a parking ticket for parking over the line by 2 inches

Mr. Pockets 04-19-2004 09:06 AM

I'll park my car at the far end of the lot to avoid adding to my already extensive collection of door dings, but I never take up more than one space. In my opinion, that's just asking for attention, which I don't want. Attention just attracts something I want less than door dings - key scratches.

I have a suggestion- park whatever 'ugly' car you may have (most of have some kind of 'utility' vehicle) REAL CLOSE, RIGHT NEXT TO the guy's fancy, schmancy car.

That'll usually piss'em off BIG TIME.

Lol! :D What would be even better is if you have an ol' beat up truck with a gun rack on the back. It'll piss the owner off, but he'll probably drive away without saying a word...thinking you're a mountain of a man with a born-to-kill tattoo! :)

If my car cost one million dollars, I would probably take up the whole lot.

Scott 04-19-2004 01:47 PM

That's why my daily driver is a 93 Ford Tempo. I like parking next to expensive cars. It makes them worry. I also never worry about people cutting me off or pulling out in front of me. I've come close to being t-boned several times on my trips to work. I just smile at them. They always seem scared.

in my younger years, my friends and i would do some bad things to that car. thank god i got older.

Landshark 04-19-2004 07:16 PM

here's a thought - don't drive your $2 million car (yes, they are worth that much now) to the f*****g grocery store! take the Bentley instead.

people with more money than brains.

UberRoo 04-19-2004 07:58 PM

Ferraris seem to get uglier every year. It pleases me to think that someone would pay such an obscene amount of money for such a uninspired exercise in emotional marketing. You think he's compensating for something?

wonder what he was buying. i figure someone's that rich they wouldn't have to hit the grocery stores.

the owner of a successful steak house chain here in atlanta has one. went with a friend of mine that was shopping for a house in buckhead to see his house. was surprised to see a ferrari in the garage and to find out who the owner was. turns out his maid gets the groceries, occasionally his wife :D, but his wife doesn't drive the ferrari...

$10 bucks says condoms and $20 says they weren't for his wife either

Wonder if one can take up 2 spots and buy two parking tickets and get away with it...... , would be much safer to have a BIG distance to all careless jerks ...
