Oil filler Pipe Leak
I have a leak at the oil filler pipe. If you start from the top it appears to be leaking right at the first joint/connection. there's a few bolts there so i'm assuming that there is a gasket or o-ring that needs to be replaced. Anyone know the part # and what's involved in doing this. It has to be one of the more simpler repairs that i've done on this car so far. I have a manual just haven't looked at it yet. Since i'm sure someone has done this at one time or another might as well ask the experts first........Part # and torque values would help...
THANKS HENRY |

THANKS ===================================== Took care of that today. Installed the $3.41 o-ring in the filler pipe. There actually was not one in there but it had just recently started leaking. Well leak no more. Was this and upgrade on the later SVX models? I also no longer have the slamming trunk door. Replaced the trunk struts with another set. They are used but in much better shape than the ones i took off. Man i wish all SVX repairs were this easy............ |
