Performance heads and camshafts

The cylinder heads and camshafts off my race engine are available. The intake camshafts have a 244 duration with 8.1mm lift. The exhaust camshafts have a 264 duration with 9.3 mm lift. The cylinder heads have longer stainless intake valves with thermal barrier coating on the surfaces exposed inside the combustion chamber. The exhaust valves are longer inconel valves with thermal barrier coating on both the surfaces exposed in the combustion chamber and on the backside of the valve to the valve guide. The outer valve springs are OE valve springs. The inner valve springs are a custom spring. The combination gives about 60 lbs of seat pressure and about 155 lbs of open pressure at the lifts of the camshafts. The valve seals are genuine Subaru seals. The cylinder heads are ported and have thermal barrier coating in the combustion chambers and exhaust ports. The car idled very well without the need of any software modifications.

While you can look at these as used you can also look at them as proven since they have performed admirably in a car with 7800 RPM shift points and show little wear. My cost on the heads was a little over $3,000. The camshaft sets are usually $1020 including the cores. I’ll take $2,500 for the set including the crates but not the shipping.
