Any Ideas?
Where the hell can i get a wire into cabin of the car!?!?!? This is getting really fusterating! I am trying to put on my new driving lights and can't find a place to run the wire into the cabin thru, I need to bring it in there for an on/off switch but dang! also, where do you think I should ground it on the inside?
Thanks for the help on my dumb questions. Chris |
I don't know if the SVX is the same, but my Legacy has a rubber plug near the brake pedal which easily pops out. I slit that, threaded my wire through and I was good to go.

egh... I gave up on trying to find a plug or rubber gromit to get it thru that would still reach the switch, so I just brought it thru the rubber piece under the hood and between the fender and body... worked alright, looks like **** when the doors open, but its good enough for now.

When I did my stereo I brought the wires through the AC hole/grommet on the passenger side and it came in under the glove compartment.

see, and I didnt have that kind of length, I needed it on the driver's side and close to the dash... no biggy

no, positive terminal only, 3 ways switch with a neg connection thru ground only when the switch is on

there is a rubber gromet that goes right next to the brake booster for the tranny wiring harness, it is easy and clean to use that.

I think I will use that once I start to install my new gauges when they come
