Somebody stole a lug nut...
 

Dude... I glanced at the front passenger tire yesterday, and noticed that one of the lug nuts is gone. Awesome! I torqued all of them to slightly-more-than-spec when I did my brakes, so something makes me doubt that it just came off. Is somebody stealing my lugnuts?!

It better not be some super-secret sign of "Your whole car is next." :mad:

I hear SVX lug nuts are quite valuable...yes I tend to agree if you put them on yourself..doubtful one just flew off...time to post a guard for your SVX..that sucks

Did you make sure to re-torque them a few days later?

I think it's most likely that you missed one with the wrench, man. No offense. :)

I would agree. I will retorque mine after a few days and it is surprising how loose one can be. Just a thought. :)

:confused: Must be some weird Washington thing! The only time that I really take off my tires is when rotating them (brake are the occasional exception). When loosening the lugs for a rotation, they have always been very tight because of the last rotation.

I suppose that I could have missed one... I hope, in that case, that my lug didn't tag somebody's windshield on the freeway!
