Speedo lagging
I noticed this for a couple weeks now that from a dead stop it takes my speedometer about 3-5 sec before the needle starts moving and then it's fine. Is my cable going bad and what do I need to do to fix this?

the sensor might be on it's way out.
Or the gears DRIVING the sensor could be slipping...Id get under the car and pull the sensor, see what you find. Its bolted into the front diff
The gears are under the sensor correct? If so can they be removed without taering anything major off.
to get to the gears, you have to pull the transmission, then split the case from the gearbox
Thats definatley not gonna happen because i realllllllllly don't want to pull the tranny for like a 10$ part. One thing I seen that might be lagging it is I took out my gauges to make them red and the plastic needle at the bottom of the speedo broke slightly so i dropped epoxy glue on the top to build it up high enough to stop the needle from going all the way down past 0. So i'm going to take the cluster out and see it this recent heat change maybe dehardening the glue a bit then i'll try the speedo gear. thanks so far.
