Fahrenheit or Celcius

I had a problem with my car and it sat for a couple of months with a dead battery. When I got the car back on the road, I noticed that my temp. control read-out had changed from fahrenheit to celcius. It's not a real problem, just more of an annoyance. Does anyone out there know how to change it back??? I appeciate all the free advise that you guys give me and I hope one day I can return the favor.

This is from the SVX Information warehouse website's FAQs. It shows you how to change your temperature readings FROM fahrenheit to Celsius.

12.1.1 - How do I make my climate controls read in Celsius?
Remove the kick panel on the left side of the car. You may have to slide it up a bit to get it out of the door trim.
Locate a white electrical connector with a SINGLE black wire going into both sides.
Pull apart the white connector.
Put the panel back on, start the car and turn on your air conditioning.
The temperature is now in Celsius!

Maybe this is something to check into. I have never heard of this happening to a temperature readout simply because of a dead battery. maybe pull the connector apart and put it together again.

Hope this helps.
