with an auto tranny come with turbo?....some kid has an 05 WRX auto and told my friend its turbo. I thought only the manuals had turbo :confused:

yep - wife's is a 4EAT. if its a "WRX", it has a 2.0L turbo. the RS is the NA 2.5L.

to confuse you further, i believe the '06 WRX's will have a 2.5L turbo engine, and now sportshift on the autos.

Yeah i heard about that too. I just have never seen a WRX auto with turbo before.

*ALL* WRX's are turbo, with either a 5 speed manual, or a 4EAT. the WRX STi is 6 speed manual only.

so, in conclusion, 2.5RS=NA (5M/4A), WRX=turbo (5M/4A), STi=turbo (6M)

Alan, as usual, is correct. The lady on our bowling team has a 2004 WR Blue WRX auto. She loves it.

I'm sure my 928 S4 will be able to catch the SRT-4 :D. I've decided on Black with the 5 speed. Tan interior prefered, but I'll take black if the right one comes my way. The place near me still has a 1989 928 S4 5 speed Black/Black for $18,500. It even has the Cup II wheels. The owner has a custom Carerra 4 Targa that sounds like a 917 Le Mans race car when he starts it. He told me I can have a ride when I want. He also told me I could take of the 2 928s on the lot for a spin. The other one is a Silver 1988 with only 56k miles. That one is an auto.
