how much (estimated) would it be to have the C solenoid and transfer clutch replaced, or solenoid and clutch rebuilt? and does the transmission have to come out for that or not?

The tranny does not have to come out to do the transfer clutchs and solenoid.
My tranny guy told me he'd do it for $300, and that would include a new clutch basket.
