Advice on how to proceed

Long time no post.

If you don't remember, years ago I started trying to build a turbocharged SVX project. It didn't go well. Ran into numerous problems, both with the car and in life in general. It's been sitting for years, rotting away.

I'd like to get rid of everythign and just walk away, but I'm sure a lot of people aren't going to line up to get a nonrunning car and trailer it away even at a huge discount. Best option might be to part out, but the market for forged parts in EG33s hasn't ever really been that high either. So I was just wondering what you guys think I should do?

Put all of the forged parts in a wooden box with plenty of padding, find out how much it costs to ship to 20754 and then figure out how much the parts are worth to you. Add the two numbers together and PM the figure to me.

They're all still in the block. I really don't know what kind of time I have to dedicate to taking anything apart and sorting stuff out which is why I'd prefer to have like a "fire sale" if at all possible. The short story is the house all my stuff has been stored at all this time is now being rented by another person.. And I have a garage full of stuff I need to move and no where for it all to go.

What parts do you have in the motor? I'm very interested.

Re: Advice on how to proceed

I have two complete engines and most of a 3rd. In the car now is a stock engine from the junkyard. The built engine has ACL trimetal bearings, cometic head gasket, ARP head studs and rod bolt, Eagle H beam STi rods, custom made forged CP 8.5:1 pistons from Tom's car, a bunch of new seals.. I think the new pulleys, oil pump, water pump, and timing belt were moved to the junkyard motor. In the car is a full 5 speed conversion kit with a new Exedy clutch, Kartboy shifter, 2005 WRX transmission, Koni/GC suspenion, Group N trans mount (also have engine mounts, new, unmodified)... Probably other stuff. You'll have to check my build thread.

The car only ever ran for a few days. Started shooting smoke and wouldn't stay running which is why I got the junkyard motor in it now.. It has never once fired at all, not sure why. From all the years of sitting around, the clear coat is gone from the roof, hood, and some other places, the tires are flat or useless, the windsheild is cracked, and a whole side of the car is covered in brown paint over spray from some hack off the streets my mother hired to paint her fence for her.. While not damaged in any way, the body is a total loss cosmetically :\

So, PM a number for the engine as well as where you're located so I can figure if it's worth the drive.
Thanks
Bill
