Help Please !
Hello everyone, i have a horrible situation that i got myself into. I've been looking for a motorcycle for a while now and finally found the "right one" on ebay. Well when i emailed the guy and got to talking with him about the bike i told him it sounded like a great deal and i would take it. Only conditions were that i pay 1/2 up front and 1/2 upon arrival. So he answers my questions about the mechanics and said that deal is cool aobut the money. When i went to look on ebay again it was no longer available. I just figured he took it off cause i bought it. (stupid i now realize) Well anyways he sends me his address and info and wanted the money western union'd to him. So i said sure (stupid again i now realize)i sent him the money and got home i saw him online and he emailed me and told me to send my confirmation address and the money transfer number. he said it would be shipping out in a few hours after that. That was aproximately 3:00pm friday. Since then i havent seen him online or received an email back from him. Seeing as how i slowly started to realize what was happening i checked the address, and it is the main address to queens college in new york. I still have the original question i asked about the bike when it was on ebay and the email that he has from aol. I was wondering i told them about this if they would give me the name of the account holder??I've never used western union before do you even need a real name to pick it up?I can't believe i fell for this, i was just so blinded by the "awesome"deal that i had no clue till it was too late. I know if it seems to good to be true it is, i can't tell you how upset i am :( If anyone knows of a way for me to track the ip of the computer the email came from or thinks they can help me out in any way, it would be not even describable how much i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
The bike the deal was for was an Yamaha R6 w/ less than 3000mi. for 2950 with a clear title. Just looking at that written down now makes me so mad i couldnt see through this scam. Please offer any and all advice, thanks again
