Who wants to see an SVX........

Who here wants to see a Subaru SVX win the NHRA 2004 Sportsman national title?:D

Well, I am going to Mission, Canada on Wednesday for division final races. This is the Summit ET NHRA division finals. If you want to see the first thing done, I need to win this event. Cross all your fingers and toes for me, send me some good wishes, and think lucky thoughts for me.
Should I pull off a win at this event, I will be one of seven going to the nationals in Pamona, California. Only the first place winner from every division get to race the nationals. Obviously, there are seven divisions in the United States. I run/race Division Six (6).

I doubt I can expect any cheer leaders for me in the stands at Mission Raceway, but knowing you guys and gals are behind me should be enough. Lets hope!
:D

Chris,

I'm late on this I know but what kind of racing do you do? I'm thinking bracket racing but I know I'm wrong. Sorry! At any rate, good luck.

Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, don't fail us now.

Good luck, Chris.

Chris,

Best of luck man!

BTW what kinda times are you consistently turning in the 1/4? On a 0.500 tree what's your reaction time?

My friend that does foot brake with his modded '00 SVT Lightning, cuts 0.550 reactions with consistent 12.85 passes in the 1/4.

Is this drag racing:confused:

Earthworm 09-03-2004 11:39 AM

Yes it is. Chris's car is not the fastest but definately the most consistant.

The Tuba City Lady Warriors (a girls High School Cross Country team) have a saying that goes "Yego yego yego!" It means "harder harder harder" or "faster faster faster" or actually a bit of both.

Yego Yego Yego Chris. :)

(oh, and good luck too :D )

Good News!

Well, today was the last local points race. I chance of loosing first round and getting bumped to a spot NOT going to the finals was possible.

BUT, I am happy to say that it was the furthest from what ACTUALLY happened. After many hours and a few longs waits for track clean-ups, I took TRACK CHAMPION! This was also an NHRA "King of the Track" day, and thusly I won a special hat. I set my goals and winning and I did. Lets hope that same happens at Mission Raceway. I will be leaving here Thursday. Will try to post updates as possible if I can find an open WI-FI access point.

HORRAY!!

Yay! We'll be rooting for you.:D
