Part number for the lighted SVX Key? NLA

Does anyone know the part number for the SVX ignition key that has the little light in it?

Sorry, but they probobly don't make them anymore, but, theoretically, couldn't you get an xt6 lighted key and have it cut to match your svx key?

Um... just wondering... why??!? The SVX already has the little light up ring around the keyhole.

There is a Subaru key blank with a green LED on the end The part is key blank PT471293. The part number is 57430AA130 and was obtained from Subaruparts.com and cut by my dealer. Cost was $12.92.

Unfortunately, as of 2016, this part has been discontinued and is NLA

The LED does comes in handy when opening the trunk at night

I think it's useful in opening the trunk. There's nothing to illuminate the trunk keyhole and there's no remote release from the key. That would be my only "plus" for having the key with the light.

Oh. Cool. Not bad for the price. Anyone else wish the SVX remote wasn't obnoxious red and black? It'd be cooler if it was brushed aluminum or something.

What you need is one of these "Fashion" keys on your remote fob.

Then, you'd REALLY be "pimpin'." :D

Yeah, before I found subaruparts.com, I paid 10 bucks for an OEM regular key. Sheesh.

I've always thought the remote looked kinda . . . well . . . cheap. But, it ain't everybody who gets a "custom" remote. I mean, it could've just said "Subaru" on it and been your normal, two-button, plain Jane model. Yeah, it's kinda ugly, but, I've learned to live with it. :D

That first key looks faster than my SVX!! There is always someone who is willing to take our money isn't there? :)

My remote system doesnt work right now. I'm pretty sure my security box is shot. The lighted key would save me from scratching my handle a little. Now, if only they had a heated key that melts the locks when they are frozen.
