Subiefest 2012
 

Hey guys (and girls).
Subiefest 2012 will be on October 6 in southern California, at the Pomona fairplex. This is supposed to be the largest Subaru event in America.
Anyone interested in getting another group together to represent the SVX?

I don't know. I would think there should be something over there.
Although I didn't attend, I remember Subiefest being at this same location last year.

Subiefest was today!
I met up with David (dbarnblatt) and attended the event. Lots going on!
Car show, autocrossing, skid pad, dyno testing, vendors and more!
There were a lot of amazing Subarus on display and running around the track!
We entered our cars in the car show. David with his pristine '97 and me with my restored '92. Many people checked out our cars. Some who had never seen one and others who knew what they were but hadn't seen one in a long time.
It was great answering questions and showing the differences in our cars.
In the end, my "Black Beauty" won the "Best Other Old School" category.
It was a good time!
Hopefully, we can get more of us together to represent the SVX at the next gathering! :D

Subiefest 2012 was a blast. Lots of great cars on display and on the track. Congrats to Armando for winning best old school Subaru!
