Aluminum rear wing idea
 

Ive never been much of a large wing kinda guy but today
I was moving some of my wings on display in our showroom
and just for fun, took this aluminum adjustable rear wing
out to my silver SVX and set it on my car just for fun to see how
maybe it would look.
I was pretty amazed with the results, it really looked way better and
fit overall way better then I expected.
I took some pics. Locally we still sell these style wings alot to Nissan
240s etc . They are not over the top and do look pretty clean on the
right car. What Im most bummed out about is, I only have 1 left in stock
lol and dont think we can even order anymore
I think even those out there who are not a wing type person for the
SVXs would even say "hey, not all that bad"

I would think that from a safety point of view it would not pass here in NZ/AUS - as parts are to "sharp" & extend out to far from mounting body work.

Curving the horizontal section at the ends to make a u-shape may make it look better plus give more surface area ???

Sorry not for me either. Looks like it has a reason for being there. Like a bike rack, ski rack. Etc

its not my taste either
but out of all the aluminum wings we have sold in the last 10+ yrs
its the only 1 I could see on an SVX thats fairly tasteful.
Different taste for different owners luckily for us :)
So you got my plate huh ? I get thumbs up all the time from people
driving around, ...its always dudes who get it, ...chix just dont get it :)
