why bother wasting money on that, a simple stop at the local gas station once a month is all you need;)

nice to know how much pressure u have in real time that is pretty cheap for tpms.

Do you have snow and road salt in your neck of the woods? Those particular sensors have aluminum air valves and when mixed with road salt can corrode quite badly. They come with special caps that have o-rings inside to keep any salt out of the valve. If the cap falls off or is replaced with a non-ringed (regular black pastic) cap salt will get into the valve and seize up the inner components. Then when a tire shop tries to remove the valve core to let air out they'll snap the top of the valve off. Also, with those being an aftermarket part I wouldn't be confident in shops having compatible replacement sensors on hand.

I've seen this happen on more vehicles than I care to recall. There is a work around to leave the valve intact (just let the air out the slow way), but the core is still seized and the sensor will have to be replaced.
