got this 3M headlight restoration kit

consists of 3 types of sanding pads and a buffing pad

my headlight lenses were horribly yellow and dull (the pictures dont look as bad as they did in person)

the kit worked pretty well for me
i didnt get around to washing the car completely before taking the final pics...

Same kit I used in my post. I also did the center grill.

That does look pretty good, actually.

Mine are pitted badly, and while I buff them fairly often (which seems to help) it doesn't seem to get rid of the rough spots.

I suppose the best solution would just be to get a set of new ones...

Where'd you get them from?

I'd really like to get my hands on a set of glass ones (obviously) but I know how hard those are to come by.

Yeah glass sounds nice but expensive. I don't like expensive so it's be nice to find this headlight stuff..

I don't mind spending the money on quality parts, so that's not it. I just know they're not easy to be had! And mine are fine for now, so until I actually need new ones, they'll do fine.
