My muffler rattles, and i can't make it stop?!!?

My muffler started to rattle a while back like when you floor it it sounds really bad like stuff is grinding. But it's my muffler, does anyone else have/had this problem with there SVX?:confused:

Can't say for sure, but, more than likely it's your resonator (a large "lump" located between your front cats and your muffler, in the area of the right rear wheel. Many of us have just had it cut out and replaced with a straight pipe. Problem solved. Make sure that's your problem before you cut it out, though. Get it up on a rack and make sure that's where the sound is coming from. A muffler shop will do it for around 25-40 bucks.
