Who cheated and drew the white lines? :D

That 45 degree incline must have been pretty tricky.

Don't you worry about ruining wheel bearings doing that kind of stuff?

Nope. If done properly, your wheel bearings will last almost indefinitely. FYI, the wheel bearings on the '92-'97 SVX have the same part # as those found on the '05+ STI...;)

It was definitely tricky. One guy in a B stock 350Z kept 'drifting' around that banked arc of the track! He got the award at the end of the day for the most stylin' points!!! :cool: :cool: :cool: I beat his time by a lot btw... ;) I also beat a driver in a Porsche Boxster S by over 1 second. :)

'05+ STI doesn't weigh nearly 4000 pounds ;)

If yours last so long, how come they go on my car like every other day. Last time one let go, the damn seal failed.

immortal_suby 12-10-2005 06:36 AM

05 STI curb weight = 3298
92 SVX curb weight = 3525
difference = 227

The rear bearings on my '96 first failed at ~110K miles. I replaced both and my car now has 127K miles with no more failures. Have the bearings packed properly with the right high-temp grease and have them installed properly - and they'll last! ;)

And yeah....what Matt said about weight! ;) Btw, my awd L model weighs even less.

My bearings are original.
Pretty much everyting on the car was until I got a hold of it. :/

I was going to comment about the superior German automobile, but it speaks for itself....:D

Yeah, that car was phenomenal and owned by a young 20 year old college kid. He said it was stock and I'm amazed after seeing those photos. An SVX with the koni/gc set-up has similar lean in the tight stuff!!! :eek: :cool:
