Motor Week '91 SVX Road Test Video

I'm sure some of you may have already seen this (and hopefully this isn't a :repost: as I did a quick search) but in case someone isn't up to speed on the Youtube searches ;), I thought this was pretty cool:

I don't remember seeing it before, but I don't remember much about yesterday either. That is a better than average video about the SVX. :)

They put that people asking what is it as a negative thing?? How about not... I would have put auto selt belts, and no pass airbag. Along with the fact that gery was the only color interior. I think the tan interior is much better than the grey. Great video though.

The bit that got me was the "over-engineered" tilt/telescope wheel. The third lever is an exit release! It's likely that much of this car would escape many people, though - how many with half an hour with this car would find the wiper park switch without the book in the glovebox?

"gimmicky button on the shifter that allows the driver to shift manually"

So they're the ones who caused that rumor.....

Watched it yesterday. Surprising to hear something good about the car. You'll have to forgive me, I'm in a house full of people who "don't understand why I would ever want to drive a 16 year old car with so many problems."

Ya. I get "the car's not worth it" or "why do you want to buy a 16 year old car." I also get "it needs too much work" or "it's too expensive." Oh well, most people will never understand.

Im sure thats what he means. As the wipers do sorta park when they are in summer mode.

hijack

Speaking of wipers, is the first intermittent setting supposed to go to continues mode when you get to like 15mph? I find that very annoying...

They don't like it because people ask too many questions?:lol: I love it when people have no clue as to what kind of car I have.
