Just got off the phone..
 

I just got off the phone with Subaru Customer Care or whatever they call themselves.. you know, 800-SUBARU3..

Anyway I was calling them to ask if all recall work had been done to the car.. It had.. an oil cooler hose and the alarm system had both been worked on. Then I asked them what sort of work had been done on the car while it was under warranty..

Some pretty normal stuff--brake pads, AC recharges (actually quite a few of them..), a window (the way she explained it I think it was the strip of glass that runs over the window) and then the kicker. Remanufactured transmission at 34k miles. Alice has 123k on her now so it looks like with much luck I won't have to think much about the transmission for quite some time.

I'm stoked
