Yepp. I have been hacking one form Audi for a while(6 months now off and on). Currently, the chip will fit. I have yet to pull the audi key off to put the SVX key back on though.

I've got one of these keys, already cut for my car. Sometime soon I plan on trying to disassemble it to see if we can fit the remote control internals into it.

You can't fit it unless you chop up the housing :)

Hey I was looking at that key too, and loved it, but only if you can get the button to work...Tell me what you find inside of that thing, If you can customize that housing so it fits the chip, I'll bite for one too.

have you seen the master key for the Lexus cars? Essentially the same size as their standard key, but has a remote built into it with a little button on the side. Unfortunately Lexus wants over $200 for one, then adding in the recever, etc....:(

None in my county's junk yards for me to check out and my daughter won't let me cut up her key & security system.
