Wanted: Rear Diff
 

Does anyone know where I can get a rear diff for my 1994 SVX? Or if I can use a diff from another Subaru model? Any info greatly received!

Do you know exactly what has failed in your current differential?
The SVX uses unique axles unlike any other Subaru so depending on what has failed in your current differential, you may only need certain parts of it.

I am not sure what ratio they run in Australia, or if yours still has the original tranny/rear diff....
They use the same housing as a Legacy/Liberty, Forester, some Impreza's, but in the US have a different gear ratio than most other Subarus, so would need to know what is currently in yours....

I've got a used spare if you get desperate.

But as per the other posts, need to know a bit more to figure if mine would be useful to you.

they should be a 3.70

which is why I asked what was bad. If the carrier is shot, he'll need one from an SVX. if it's the side load bearings or ring/pinion, there are quite a few more options. :)
