Design Giugiaro for my window

1 Attachment(s)
Just finished putting a pair of these on my windows. Designed them based on the Giugiaro Maserati emblem. My son does vinyl cutting, so he took the design and cut it out in black vinyl and reversed it to install on inside of glass.

Attachment 6831

What do y'all think?

He could do them in most any color for any surface. I chose black so it would be more subtle. Now the curious onlookers will have something else to try and figure out.

You can check out his ebay store "http://stores.ebay.com/NascarJunkiesCustomVinylGraphics"

Very inexpensive too!

Make sure the window is warm (we used a hair dryer) and very clean.

THAT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT !!!!!!!!

I told you all not to buy the maserati's emblems, just go for vynils and make them larger in dimensions !!
I was working on a similar thing Mr.Bill, my best friend also has a cutting machine, he was working the same thing for me.. I guess you got there first ;)
Nice job!

If you want one like mine - check out the ebay store link I gave. Search for SVX if you don't see it. I just designed it - I don't produce them.

also - how can I get the photo to appear on the page? It can't be that hard but I can't make it happen.

When you reply, you have above the quoting a yellow button showing a couple of mountains... you click on it and you paste the www.... of the picture you opened in another window. This picture can be one in your locker or another website...;)

I did it for you. I stored the picture in my locker, and then linked it like it was mentioned before. I should have made the picture a little smaller before posting it, but that is ok.

:) :)

Thanks Earl - I forgot to put it in my locker. Remember what they say about old dogs and new (I forgot that too).

From one old dog to another, what were we talking about? :D :D :D

There's no accounting for taste. Personally, the fewer emblems the better. Automakers think it is necessary to stick all kinds of worthless emblems on cars, and usually the cheaper the car, the more emblems. Take a look. We see emblems such as 4V, 24V, XLT, V6, V8, Hemi, ABS, 4X4, FWD, AWD, etc. ad nauseum. Why? Why would someone want to advertise their car having four valves per cylinder, or an eight cylinder engine configured in V order, or hemispherical combustion chambers, or that the car has anti-lock braking? In my opinion, ANY emblem other than the name of the manufacturer is a waste of money. So you have a 32 valve, hemi, V8 engine, AWD, ABS and traction control. I always prefer a "sleeper" when the light changes to green. You can put a Giugiaro sticker on your car if it makes you happy, but nobody else knows or cares. Ask a Cadillac owner - who is Brougham and who cares. I suggest you utilize the window space for rear-side vision instead.

The thing is Preston you might be right concerning this issue, it is useless to use stickers such as V6, V8, W16, etc... but when it comes to CLASSY stickers like Giugario, it gives value to your car when admired by people who are really into cars. In my book, GIUGARIO's sticker on my SVX, is like the "Lacoste" or "Armani" tag on my cloth, as well as "Rolex" in my hand.

At least we won't be categorized as "Probes" anymore :D

to each his own

let's not start a war through a thread over it

I can see what he meant. This could go into why people should and should not like it. PDsides doesn't like and he stated his opinion and you did yours. That's cool but it can get way carried away going back and forth on this subject when Mr. Bill was just showing what people can purchase. DarknessOfDeath was just pointing this out before it went there. Now I'll sit back and watch to see if this thread goes in that direction. :(

Nope, folks who haven't got a clue will think you're driving a Giugiaro. :D
