'92 SVX for CHEAP

Well, it's still for sale guys and should be in the next issue of Unique Cars too...

I've just lowered the asking price for my car, which is still negotiable...

Check out the expiry of the registration 06/2007!!!

Check it out at...

Do it. Do it... You know you wanna buy one of these puppies! It's DAMN cheap!

Regards
Paul.

Well, all you guys missed out. We traded in the car along with a 2000 model liberty for a new Honda Accord Euro.

Can I ask what trade value they gave the SVX...and then which dealer it ended up with?

Thanks,
Matt

If anyone is interested, my red '95 (first sold '96) is still available. I think I am having premature separation anxiety though!!!! If anyone wants to see photos, let me know.
Cheers, Mark.

It always seems that the cars in australia are in much better condition compared to the US SVX's. Why is that? It almost seems that your immune to the yellow hazed headlights and teared up leather!! Very nice svxi! Simply beautiful!!

If you can sell the car privately, then do so... Subaru offered $4,000 for the car, which i blew off... Honda offered $6,000, which was also disappointing, but we also traded a Liberty with the SVX, so we got a total of $21,000 credit... Much lower than the $30,000 we wanted ($10,000 for the SVX, minimum, and $20,000 for the liberty).

Unless you're in dire need of a new car, then sell privately.

The only reason we traded hastely was due to the Liberty coming up to rego and nearly 100,000km on the clock, and with the mid year sales coming up the offered price of both cars would have dropped...

The SVX wont be going to a car dealer as such. It will be going to the wholesale market, so i guess it could pop up anywhere...

All the best
Paul.

Is it still at the dealer (ie, which dealer please) or has it gone already?

Kloster Honda in Newcastle, NSW.

The trade wont finalise until Friday though...so if you're interested in buying it I'm not sure if you'll be able to until then, at which time it will probably go wholesale. Give it a go though if you're interested...;)

Best of luck
Paul.

Can you still go ahead if you sell the car separately?

I'd be happy to offer $7000. Cash could be transferred by tomorrow online.

Matt

MisanthropyV 05-23-2006 07:26 PM

by the way, the car was sold before rego, so the rego is still 29/06/2006... not 2007 anymore...

MisanthropyV 05-23-2006 07:41 PM

Unfortunately the new car relies on the trade. Feel free to talk to the dealer to purchase directly. Sorry mate, wish I could accept the money...

Paul

Paul,

Thanks. I've spoken to the dealer, they're letting me know what's happening but they doubt I can buy it direct from them.

Matt

I'll speak things over with the owner's of the Liberty. Can't promise anything though... Is $7,000 your final offer? Send an email to misanthropyv@yahoo.com so that I can reply the answer.

Email sent...cheers,
Matt
