Flickering Warning Lamps

1996 SVX Lsi
The dash warning lamps (Steering, Battery, Stop Lamp, Brakes) start randomly flashing on and off occasionally. There is no problem with the alternator or battery. Car runs fine otherwise. Ocassionaly the ABS lamp will join in.

Re: Flickering Warning Lamps

Voltage regulator maybe, or ignition switch...... the two culprits ive seen so far here for that.

Could be a weakening alternator or bad connections in the wiring. Try cleaning off all the contacts of any involved wires with the battery and alternator.

Oh and clean your battery post connections, and check the wiring between the batt and alternator. Easy stuff first!
