$8,999.00 Cdn

Someone bought a nice looking '92 silver from a local (Vancouver Island) Honda dealer this week. I don't know what he paid for it but the asking price was $8,999.00. I don't know what work has been done to the car but it has only about 130,000 kilometres (82,00 miles) on the odometer. That's not a bad buy around here if it's in as good a shape as it looks.

I dropped by the dealer and left a message about this site for the new owner. I hope he (or she) checks in.

Subaru in Duncan

The salesman was kind enough to pass along your info and I did sign up to this site. The asking price on the car was 8995 and we settled at 7444.

I've never even seen a svx but fell in love with it when I saw it on the lot.
They put in a rear lens for me $300 and said it was good to go.
I drove it home today and I love it.
I'm still trying to figure out where everything is.:)

So thanks for inviting me and I am sure I will have questions in the future.

Cheer
Phil in Duncan BC

Another SVX for Vancouver Island

Just came back from southern California (to Victoria)with a one-owner California '93 Anniversary Edition- (#073) 145K miles -in awesome shape
When the weather clears I'll finish cleaning it up and put together some pix
Looked for years up here for a good one- too expensive- questionable or unknown history
Found this by fluke on the web @ a small used car lot- owner traded for new (Acura I think) and dealer dumped it to the small lot
Bought it over the phone sight unseen (what could possibly go wrong???)
Ran great on trip home- can't wait to get registered and on the road
Totally hooked already.
minor issues- wheel caps and mirror fade, slight sag in one visor, typical paint chips, trunk struts,
good stuff- interior immaculate, trans no problems, original everything all round, 35 MPG coming up the coast -guess sometimes you just get lucky

Holy Cow!

We're going to have to have a Vancouver Island Meet at this rate.

hey...Imprezzed here. Just moved from Nova Scotia to Vancouver Island. Had an SVX for 3 years, sold it, some tool rolled it on the 102 outside Halifax 2 weeks after he bought it. I know about most of the heartache that these cars can cause. If you have questions, feel free to drop me a line.

Here is a picture of what was my car.

It's a shame

What a shame to have wrecked that car.
