all the older ppl i talk to say i look just like my mother...

all the younger ppl i talk to say i look nothing like my mother...

For me, personally, I think it'd be easier to say who you look like more if you gave us photos of both. But, since you asked specifically about your mom, then no, I don't think you look a lot like her in that photo. But then people can look drastically different depending on the angle. Depth is tricky to discern in a photo sometimes - especially in a flash photo. Flashes tend to flatten everything.

I can see the similarities in your chin, cheekbones and lower forehead.

You look related, but i wouldn't say you look alike.

People who say that you look the same can also be speaking of when your mother was your age. It would be interesting for you to look at your mothers pictures at your age and see how much you resemble her then.
