just a curiosity issue, but i am probably going to hear it on this one

just how fast have you gotten your svx?

mine, 120mph
(in the middle of the night on an empty highway...didn't even know i was going that fast)

Yeah, you probably just opened up a can o worms.
Mine - 130 so far. Felt very good at that speed.
Shook like crazy when I slowed down though, the brakes were useless after going from 130 - 70 in a short time. Always reminds me of stopping fast being a big part of going fast.
Anyone with the raceconcepts rotors tried to slow down quickly from high speed? I wonder how they hold up.

I actually got up to about 135 ont he way home from the grocery store friday night... I wanted to see what the rotors could do, so I really braked hard from 135 to about 80... AMAZING. They worked great.

140 is my fastest... Did that about a year and a half ago.

in the SVX - only 100. pretty smooth, though. in the 928 - 150+, felt like i was going 60 - and i didn't have to worry about braking power :D

Anyone here notice that you still cant even hear the engine at like 120?

145 on i-90,night time about 2:30 am, clear road and conditions. no cops. Got caught doing 111mph on i-90 back on 4-july,99. Currently,my lisence is suspended 'till aprill 23. damn! It sux!

around 165 while still automatic against a friend with a amg c36 on a dead higway. He had just bought it used and wanted to try it. He learned that the car was limited at 155mph, but I knew. I heard that other people reached 150 to170 on svx.com! Anyway we stopped on the highway and traded cars and boy did I like to my cars go by like if there was nothing to it. So we went showing off on main street and he baught me a beer.

143 many times. Same speed as my once owned 1980 928 5 speed (4.5 liter) 165?? I know you all want to say this, so I'll say it for you, B.S. awdrocket92 I'm in Montreal If you ever want to prove it. btw Landshark what year was your 928
