I just remembered I had to buy a new lower engine shroud last year and it's not in my records. Anyone know how much those are?

No, I don't believe I've wasted (much of) my money. :)

Oh that's right I bought a headlight too, once. *goes to correct records...*

Or maybe it was a fog lamp...?

There is a joke my friend made (one of many jokes) about my car getting younger and younger. It's true, I think.

I just bought a stage 1 clutch kit and steel clutch line. Sitting right at $29,981 (minus shroud) for the grand total. Still need a clutch release fork.
Anyone got?

SubaSteevo 11-02-2007 08:28 PM

I'd imagine most people over the $30k mark are original owners :p

NikFu S. 11-02-2007 08:32 PM

Yeah I imagine so. I'm wondering who isn't though?

D'oh! I intend to just stop by Conti Subaru and pick one up or have them order one. Just if anyone really needs to get rid of one can ship it to me. :D

Hrrmm...Maybe Chike can chime in here. I have no idea but there were certainly some decent mods done.

NikFu S. 11-02-2007 09:01 PM

Eh? I need a release fork. 30-40 dolla part depending.

Oh, one more thing, he says it's an 02 tranny, not an 04... and 1stsubaruparts says 02 gets it's own special fork.

crazyhorse 11-02-2007 10:17 PM

I'm a low budget kinda guy. Getting $30k into a car would be the end of my marriage:D Especially considering I'm only $50k into my house!

Car:$800
Missing a day's work to pick it up. $100
Rear brakes/one rotor: $45
Right front control arm:$40
Accessories: $50
Antenna (non power) :$10

Total so far: $1035

Getting asked WTF IS that thing.....priceless:lol:

DarknessofDeath 11-02-2007 10:55 PM

it didn't take too long for me to get repairs up to $30k,...especially with the price of parts

YourConfused 11-03-2007 12:45 AM

If I were to continue at my present spending rate I will hit the 30k make in less than 2 yrs. I do hope to not hit that mark any time, ever, w/ this car.
3.5 purchase
1 suspension
.8 exhaust
1 audio
.8 socks and shoes
3.5 drivetrain
1.1 motor stuff
.5 other
total: 12.2K in 10 months
[I am sure I forgot some things, and due to having done everything myself I would have spent a lot more. Had the audio install appraised at 2.9K which I only spent 1k doing it myself (don't tell the insurance)]
