Tech Sessions for reading 7

Well, I know everyone wants one every year... so start planning them here

Hmmm....how about a 5mt swap demo? :D

j/k!!

Hmm...how much time does the reading 7 allow to have for the tech sessions?(I assume it'd be on saturday morning/afternoon?) are you going to show us how to do it or teach us how to do it? :) do you need an SVX for demo, obviously with the particular problems?

I personally would love to make sure how to do a ball joint, inner/outer tie-rods replacements properly. If a car just does a tie-rods, must it do AWD alignment immediately before driving a 350miles journey?

Tom, I think you should plan with the "time-consuming and the difficulty level." What kind of tools we need to bring? Can my forty dollars tool box from wal-mart good enough to handle what kind of job?

Let's see what everyone else wants...

If I'm in, I have to commit myself to come. The very last reading meet I went had no tech sessions. I guess driving and tech sessions and meeting more svxers would be my favorites...:)

Front Axle replacement.

Anyone want to do one of these at reading? :D

No, I would not be willing to pay in any monitary form at all. But I would be willing to agree to kiss your @$$ for the rest of the Reading weekend.

TomsSVX 03-14-2006 05:04 PM

that would take all of 10 minutes... Sure we can do that. Tech sessions are not being paid for, they are in order to help others understand and be able to do it on their own

Tom

zavikan 03-14-2006 07:37 PM

........ok. In which case I withdraw my @$$ kissing offer.

TomsSVX 03-15-2006 02:50 PM

Ok 1st thing on the Agenda...

Front Axle replacement.... lets say around 11am??

Finacial problems hit me hard today. I will assuradly not be able to attend. But I knew getting back into the SVX world would do this to me. as long as I can afford IT, I can work on luxuries as they come. Best times to all involved there.

Myxalplyx 03-19-2006 08:28 PM

Can you teach me how to weld up my own intake for the SVX? :o

TomsSVX 03-19-2006 08:30 PM

How bout an engine swap?:rolleyes:j/k unless you really want to:D
Rear bearings?
Ball joint?
Poly. sway bar bushings?

Hey, When the works free.........;)

TomsSVX 03-21-2006 08:35 PM

Hey, I am not doing the work. I am only there to guide and help when I need to. If this is stuff you want to do and need some guidance... hell feel free.

Tom

Budfreak 03-21-2006 08:50 PM

The only thing I'd need guidance on would be the rear bearings. The rest I could handle, But not till I heal up a little more. I was really just giving ideas for things anyway. Most of that stuff will be already taken care of on my car by Reading I'm sure.(With hands clenched in prayer to the car gods)
