The "Ultimate" PCV Removal Tool!!

Check my locker out. I made a PCV tool that helped me get that &*#%!! PCV out! It helped me tremendously!! Should I quit my job and sell these?? :D Maybe I should paint it black and add the "SVX" logo to it! What a life saver!

Man, I hated it when they decided to remove the focusing feature from those digital cameras! ;)

Looks good, but I think the best approach would be to paint it not just black, but in each of the factory colors so we could all get one that matches our car(s)!

< now THAT'S marketing!!! >

Excellent! Since I don't have a torch, I'll have to use a vice and a BFH. :D:D:D

And which vice would you use, smoking, drinking, or... ? :D :p

Actually I believe if you do that you will end up breaking the wrench (hence the need to heat it).

This new tool is MUCH better to use on the PCV valve than a crow's foot.

Now we have 2 such instances of this tool (my dad has the first one)

What is the angle that you bent it? I can see, but it would be easyer to make if I knew where I was headed on the bend. :)

Randy,

Does the acronym "BFH" have "Hammer" as the last word and "Big" for the first word.

Please forgive my naivet'e. I was raised in a very sheltered enviroment. I only know what the middle initial stands for.

OooooOOOOOhhhh...

...now I need a torch. :D

What kind of torch do I need? A propane torch won't be hot enough, will it?

ensteele 02-19-2003 04:44 PM

I think Randy would tell you that you need a BFT if I know him! :D

Propane may do it. Used Oxy/Acetylene here.

JLittell 02-20-2003 03:39 PM

A welders torch. It won't bend until it turns red. Bend it to 60-70 degrees. I'm not too sure a propane torch gets hot enough. ??Remember too let it cool natuarally after you bend it. Don't touch when hot!!

JLittell 02-20-2003 03:41 PM

The mirror bras were made custom. I paid about $60.
