Electronic Air Filter

I would like to know how to clean if possible and find a replacement filter. I lifted the cover and cleaned the copper plates the best I could without removing the entire unit. The foam filter is shot!

The only car I know breaking with one was in Scotland. I connected up Kuroneko with the guy, but I don't know what happened.

These things are pretty rare, although Phil has one and I have one.

What went wrong with the Scottish one, Romeo?

Hey, like Earl says Tomodachi, welcome to the site.:D

I've no idea how to clean them. Up to a few years ago pubs here in Ireland used to have big filtration units to clear cigarette smoke. They were the same size as air conditioning units. Now smoking is banned, they don't need them any more. If memory serves the units were made by Hitachi. Perhaps you could approach Hitachi Air Conditioning and buy some fresh foam from them, and cut a replacement to fit?

Joe:)

I might be talking to Peter later today. I'll ask what's the story.
