Window decals

Hey guys, I don't know if this has come up before, since I'm kinda new here. Are there window decals with the logo and web site available? I discovered the Yahoo Club and became part of this great community when I was given a window decal by a fellow SVXer at a car wash. It basically looks like this world network logo at the top of all our pages here, except it says Subaru SVX Club and then the Yahoo URL at the bottom. I went home and found a wealth of information and good people with a common interest. I still have the decal proudly displayed on my windshield.

And now I am here at this site, which in my opinion is superior and is the future. It would be nice to have a decal to represent it, especially if there ever happens to be someone passing by to gape at my car and decides to try out the URL. And of course extras to hand out to others, which is how I got here, or even to leave on parked cars, etc.

They're in the works. Should be available very soon. I still have the "original" decals on my car waiting for replacement.

Kev,
Go to www.subarusvx.com You can order them there.

While you're at John's site, check out the movie of the Smokey Mountains meet. It pretty much captures the essence of what a meet is all about.

Randy,

I think I got the "essence" of what a meet is like when I was at the first Reading, PA meet.

Even so I'd like to view those movies, but i can't download the codec to view them here on my computer and work, Darn firewall. And with 28.8 dial-up @ home, I don't have time to d/l the videos

I'm surprised I haven't gotten eaten alive for posting here all day

Oh and shortly after I posted asking if you had the window-clings yet, I found the thread showing them/where to get them from.

thanks for the reply tho

Yeah, Kev. That was my first meet. I came out of the Holiday Inn, where I was greeted by 17 SVXes lined up in front of the front door. I was amazed.

I didn't get to meet you formally, there. So many people! You were one of the "quiet" ones -- very unlike on this board :D Keep postin'. That's what we're here for. :D

I was the one with the "weird" rims on it, surely you'd remember that much.

Yep, I remember that. If you recall, I mentioned it when you first joined the network. Just didn't get to meet you "in person." You made quite an impression when you rolled up at Reading. Hope you can make it for Reading III -- first full weekend in April, 2002.

I'm hoping to be able to make it. I was quite dissapointed when i didn't get to make it this year.

You were definitely missed. I kept looking for you, waiting for you to drive up at the last minute. It was kinda dreary, but still, a good time. I was hoping we would break the VT Record, which broke the first Reading Record (VT: 25, Reading I: 23), but, we only had 19 cars. Still, it was a great time. Just to see Warren's "Seafoam Green" rims was worth the trip. :)

I'm weary about going to any meets right now, since my car has been beat up so bad.

Two hit and runs in one month in two different parking lots.
Oh,,, and the time i was installing some light in the garage and my drill fell right on the ridge on the door created a really nice dent. not to mention the ever popular door dings and runaway shopping carts.

I have a couple of dents on my car as well. but that's not the point here right?

Lwin:D

DOOD! Don't let that stop you. I went to the MWM with a crunched fender . . . and if Blonde_man (geez, I must have ran him off the last time -- oh well), can drive his car to meets, in the condition it's in, then . . . anyhoo, if there's one thing you shoulda learned from Reading, it's that "it ain't the cars" -- but don't tell anybody. :D
