How Many Ls-L Touring 91-92?
 

hey just curious any one know how my guess 91-92 touring packaged LS-L were made compare to the LS models in that year?

Well, for one there were no 91 SVXes, first year was 92, but I have no idea beyond that. Most of the 92s that I've come across around here have had the touring package (LS-L).

All of the 93's were LS-L's

It was my understanding that all the 1992 cars were LS-L's? At least sold here in the U.S.

Somebody correct me if i'm wrong.

I have seen many 1992 LS models. Ravi, a member on the network, had a 1992 Claret LS model not far from me.

Well, Im not sure if they were all LS-L's, but the touring package was optional. You see some around that dont have leather/power seats, they are part leather part the escaine material. And some without a sunroof. Other than that, Im not sure of the other differences.

In the VIN, the 5th, 6th, and 7th numbers from the left indicate model: LS model: X34. LS-L (Touring package) model: X35.

Touring Package included:
Leather seating surfaces, steering wheel, shift lever, parking brake handle
Power driver's seat, 8-way
Power 2-way sunroof
Electronic vehicle speed-sensitive power assisted rack and pinion
Stereo: 6 speaker, AM/FM/Cassette/CD
Heated outside mirrors

Spoiler was optional on the LS-L as well as the LS.

If it doesn't have a sunroof or the touring package, it isn't a LS-L. If it doesn't have a CD player, it is not a LS-L model. Most are the LS-Ls, but there are many that are not. :)

Now i know they started production in what jan. of 91 or june of 91 but were they not sold til 1992? or where the 91 models sold in japan. My 92 Ls-L was 01/92 just curious didnt even kno that all the 93's were Ls-L's

Some were produced in 1991, but they were still 92 model year SVXs. They only made 301 - 93 anniversary model SVXs which were all Barcelona Red and LS-L with spoilers. Other countries got other colors and models that year. :)
