Suggesions for CD compilation
 

I am currently working on my annual "Extreme Sports" CD...I make one every year for my ski trips. This CD should include songs that fit the sport...or any sport like it. Upbeat, heavy, or just way cool.

I welcome suggestions of songs you all use for sports, or just think would work well.

No one should be without "Highway to the Danger Zone" while driving fast or playing a sport. I can't think of another song that makes me wish I had a 700hp Corvette Convertible and lived in the wide open southwest!!!!!

OK I should be more specific then. Your suggestion is great, don't get me wrong. But that one went on Volume 1 (5 years ago). This is now Volume 5 so we need songs from perhaps the last year or two.

"Schism" & "Stinkfist" are both by Tool and are both pretty ruckus, or "Gravity" by A Perfect Circle. :)

I'm checking alot of those out, some i have already used.

"Her Majesty's Secret Service", "Voodoo People", "Boom", and "Let the Bodies Hit the floor" have all been used on past volumes. But i'm happy to hear those suggestions, that means we're on the same page.

So far i've got nine winners...and about four more that will make the cut only if I fail to find something better.

Note: I have not been able to audition all the songs that have been suggested to this point yet. I'm getting there and once i'm done, i'll post the final songlist. Hopefully I can finish it up by the end of the weekend.

For those who asked...this is not for one particular ski trip...just for whatever trips I happen upon. Next week sometime I will hit Blue Mountain again, and next weekend I am supposed to be in Pitt, so you better believe i'll hit Seven Springs. I'm trying to get on board with a buddy of mine for his annual spring break trip to Vail...his group charters a helicopter for backcountry outings in the area. I just hope i'm ready for that.

Actually... Tool's "Hooker with a penis" is pretty ruckus too. :)
