Not bad but I disagree with his choice of a Duron proc in such a small case. They run too hot for that duty. He should have gone with an VIA EPIA mobo instead.

That said, it is lots better than my carpc since I do not even have one. :D

YOu should see what I run. I like VIA C3s they are warm to touch at boot and they only make about 15W of heat compare to the others which makes about 50W and upwards. I have a C3 1G and 900. I think I like the 900 better in the car. A little cooler and you don't need that much brain power for a Movie/Cd/GPS unit.

Nope not at all. I like something clean. I have my dash apart for a while now. Trying to mold eveything in place. My dad did a ton of fiberglass work (boats, car doors, bus emergecy exits) so he should be able to give me a hand on redoing the dash. I am not a big fan of the current climate control so I may move things around there. The good news is that he knows how to make the wood patterns on fiberglass so I will end up with a different wood grain. Hell yeah!

If only it's warmer to go to the car to do some measurements.

I like the fact that the 3rd party apps looks like they are a part of the main app. Took a while to design the core to do just that.

Wow that is really cool. How does that appholder work? is it an ActiveX control? I'd like to get a hold of that btw :)

It's a picturebox that hold stuff. Use the setparent API to plant the window into the stuff.

I have the older version for download on my frontend site

http://www.stars-gazer.com/~ais/

version 2.3 (in development at the moment with more features such as mute, day/night auto skin change should be out sometime this week. I need some help with voice command though.
