Anyone have access to non-usdm parts?

I am specifically looking for glass headlights, clear corners, rear tail-light bar, folding mirrors, and I think that is it for now. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bobby

Hi Bobby

Elaborate.

Are you looking for new or second-hand parts?

Joe :)

Oh, and it just occurred to me, the list you have posted as a wish-list, each and every one of these things seems to disappear within one day, generally to US buyers, if an SVX appears on the market for breaking. :p;)

Just thought I would let you know.

Joe

Yeah. We can't even get those parts for our own cars! :(

I have bought parts from him over the past year - spares for my 95, I know he has what you are after.

regards

Steve (number plate 1 OF 1)

Check out DOWN UNDER - two 95s ....

That way you will see what glass headlights look like on 1 OF 1 (red) the other is a JDM (with plastic lights)....

Phil, it looks like the NZ market is very like England at the moment. With nobody willing to pay reasonable money for the cars, it is unfortunate that breaking the cars and selling even a selection of the parts can yield more than would be gained by selling, as is.

It is a buyer's and a hoarder's market at present. The SVX will need to be a good few years older before it gets up in value as a "classic" car.

I actually think it is a victim of its futuristic looks, at present. People still "see" it as a brand new car, they find it hard to believe it was designed in the 80s.

Joe :)

You're right Joe. I was just commenting that the seller seems to want to sell it as a runner and it would be a shame to buy it and then break it.

I'll trade you my JDM clear corners for your supercharger:p;)

Get in touch with Mychailo, if you can. He seems to have the best contacts in Japan to get this stuff.

Good luck with that. I have been waiting for him to respond since Christmas. He supposedly has a pair of JDM folding mirrors for me. I am sure he will pop around sooner or later:D
