Okay, the sun is back(ish) and the price of petrol is coming down, so how about an informal get together?

A good blast through Old North road (Kaukapakapa - Kumeu) is always good for the soul.

Hey - wow that sounds great, there is a holiday this weekend (Monday 27th) - but really anyday suits me fine, with a coffee somewhere along the way...

We could have a photo session at Long Bay (make it earlyish one morning) before the crowds arrive down at the beach....then go for a drive (maybe to Matakana - to the pottery place I think called "morris & james") they do some really nice food & drinks!!!

Well thats 3 (+1 in spirit) starters, I reckon the top of Mt. Victoria in Devonport offers a stunning location for photos (if the weather holds out) and a good place to meet.

Forget about going to Matakana this weekend - they have concerts on for most of the weekend - makes for one heck of a slow cruise on those back roads....meet at Devonport is a much better idea, Mt Victoria is closer to Auckland (also less busy) & makes for a nice back-drop for pictures.
