How many miles poll

A poll for how many miles everyone has.

I'm about to roll over 105k

Mr. Pockets 09-10-2001 08:40 AM

I just rolled over 124k yesterday. Also yesterday I got the GL (204k) on the road again so I can save the SVX from pot-hole commuting duty. :)

Not many..

I think I'm going to win the lowest mileage award at a mere 47k.

Certainly for my year I will win! Might be a few 97s though that could beat me...

:D

I'd say that's probably got it, esp. with a '93.

BTW, if you have 47 it must be time to change your signature!:)

I am one of those that are in the 76-100k range. Not bad... I am about to hit 90k. I am about 2k shy of 90 now.

I'm coming soon on 107k. In my Subaru garage they have SVX clients with over 250k!

That's cool. Somebody with more miles than Doug Mohr! :) (Doug has 210K+ )

SVXCH 09-10-2001 02:28 PM

Yes, that's cool and shows, that the SVX is a real good car. An Opel or VW broke with 150k miles in pieces hehehe:D

Have your garage tell the other "clients" to visit the site (if they understand English of course)!!!!:D

Heck, have 'em come here even if they don't. We can just use this to speak with them:

http://w3.systranlinks.com/systran/cgi

It translates both ways.

However, I'm working on one of my worst projects ever. I'm translating English to English. We have a client who has a product that is manufactured in Germany. We are going to print the instruction booklet for the product. The original instructions were in German. Someone apparently ran the text through a translation program. Um, to say the least, it didn't do a very good job, so, now I've got to try to translate "German English" into "regular" English (no KY jokes, guys).

So, SVXCH, what would someone be talking about if the sentence read "Mounting caps with screws and panes in the side end groin?" I've searched high and low and I can't find an application for the word "groin" in reference to assembling furniture. :D This is an adventure, to say the least. :D

About to turn 57k... only driving the car about once a week now that I'm back at school, it is so very nice to go from my housemate's Taurus to the SVX...

"Nice?" "NICE!?!?!?" Is that all you can say when comparing an SVX with a Taurus? My word. I realized you were a man of few words when I met you at the MWM, but . . . "NICE?!?!?" :D:D

My best guess would be to put it back to german, or ask whomever for the original german version. And after that try to translate it again
